Forces are nearly always pushes and pulls. They can't be seen but their effects can. Forces can make objects do 5 things:

 

- Forces can make an object speed up or start moving

- Forces can make an object slow down or stop

- Forces can make an object change direction

- Forces can make an object turb (Moments)

- Forces can cange the shape of an object

 

Balanced forces produce no change in movement

 

Unbalanced forces change the speed and/or direction of moving objects
