Animal Cells
Cells are the building blocks for all organisms. Humans are made up of millions of tiny cells, all working together to carry out tasks. A group of cells make up tissues, and a grou of tissue make up an organ. Animal cells contain three main parts. The Nucleas is where all the genetic information is stored. It is the brain of the cell and controls what it does. The Cytoplasm is where all the chemical reactions take place. Within the cytoplasm are tiny structures called mitochondria, which is where respiration takes place. Finally, the cell membrance controls what goes in and out of the cell. It also holds the cell together and supports it.
